Maria Restrepo, Ph.D. is the Diversity in Clinical Trials Program Director at Medtronic, a global leader in medical technology, where she leads the company’s efforts to ensure diverse patient representation in clinical trials. Maria has over 10 years of experience in the MedTech industry, and she joined Medtronic in 2016 as a leader in the Corporate Clinical Operations team, where she oversaw the strategy and governance of the global organization. Maria has a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad EIA in Colombia, and a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia.
