A Medtech ecosystem that leverages the insight of thought leaders of inclusive perspectives to address unmet needs of underserved populations.

Our Story

In the fall of 2017, 15 African-American leaders from the medical device industry met over dinner in San Jose, California. They explored three topics of interest to drive greater diversity in Medtech.

1. First, they shared their stories of navigating the complexities of the industry as an ethnic minority.

2. Second, they explored what might be done to support and empower diverse patients and leaders in Medtech.

3. Third, the group made up of venture capitalists, large company executives, early-stage company CEOs, and top-tier service providers, mapped out a strategic plan for an organization that became MedTech Color.

Our Philosophy

We're working hard to build the world’s largest network of thought leaders and innovators. Our community provides resources and opportunities to support professional success, and our goal is to increase the number of these leaders who enter and stay in Medtech.

Our Strategic Initiatives

MedTech Color is a hub for resources and connections. Our programs support our members in all phases of their Medtech journey. We continue to expand our reach by growing our base of members, collaborators, allies, supporters, and thought leaders. Our work isn’t complete until we eliminate healthcare disparities.
