LISC LA, in partnership with BMO, has launched Fueling Emerging Entrepreneurs (FEE)—a multi-year grant initiative and virtual pitch competition designed to support the growth and sustainability of small businesses across Los Angeles County. The University System of Maryland Launch Fund is a three-year pilot program comprised of $600,000 which is being distributed by System institutions as microgrants to companies and organizations founded by students, faculty, employees, or alumni. Ventures are required to have a substantial portion of their manufacturing, service, research and development, or office space located in Maryland. Apply by June 15.
