AdvaMed—the Advanced Medical Technology Association—is a trade association that advocates globally for medical device manufacturers. Their ultimate mission is to help save lives by meeting the needs of patients who require medical technologies. To do this, they advocate for the highest ethical standards, timely patient access to safe and effective products, and economic policies that reward value-based products and services.

Purpose of Position

The purpose of this position is to implement the organizations strategic plan related to domestic heath care policy, including all US regulatory and payment policy. To represent organizations positions before Federal agencies, such as the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
